Download photos from apple tv

My iphone4 was locked in recovery mode so I restored to backup and updated to ios6 but lost many photos which do not appear on iCloud on iPhone or iPad but that are all still on screen saver of Apple TV. Is there any way that I can retrieve them from Apple TV to iPhone?

If you can see them on the ATV, that means they are on your computer, somewhere. They are streamed from your computer as they are shown. The ATV doesn't have any storage of it's own for photos. Once you find them, you should be able to add that folder to your iDevice in iTunes.
