On my iPhone, I have Mail associated with a gmail account.

Recently, I changed the gmail account password on another device, and now I cannot figure out where to set the new password in IOS.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? I'm probably overlooking the obvious....

Thanks.

In Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts, select the Gmail account. It’s possible that this will trigger a popup that asks for the new password. If it doesn’t, it might be necessary to delete the account and set it up again. Your emails won’t be lost, they are stored on Google’s servers. They will appear again as soon as you set up the account on your iPhone.

Thanks so much, J.A.! Given your instructions I successfully changed the password.

Previously, I had been looking for a way to change the password in Settings -> Mail and Settings -> [account name], but with no joy.

I can get down to the email account but want to see the current Pw.

Is that possible? All I see are big round dots.

Go to Settings>Passwords and scroll down until you get to your email password. Tap on it and the password is revealed.
