ear piece getting quieter

is it just me or is anyone else experiencing low volume on their iphone4 ear piece ? i dont mean the speakers for music and videos but the actual ear piece when listening to someone on a call ? can anything be done about this ? i have the volume on the side of the phone turned all the way up . thanks

Is it the way you're holding it? I notice if I don't have mine just right it's extremely quiet. Especially with ear plugs in!

I was having a similar problem with my 4s and called Verizon. They went thru their whole test with resets and it got worse. They just sent me a new one cuz it was defective.
