Ear speaker not working

My ear speakerjust stopped working a couple of days ago. It is not the same problem my wifes new phone had (thinks it is in headphone mode), it is only a couple of month old. I have tried a factory reset and no good. Is it worth taking it back to Telstra as I hear they won't do anything and if they do they tame forever, or do I just replace the speaker myself?

Is the earphone working on other devices? If yes then it might just be a a setting on your phone, of no then the earphone is spoil.

Not the ear buds, it's the little speaker you put to your ear.
