On Thursday, the social network giant announced that it will be bringing over 1,500 new emoji to its Messenger platform. This move allows Facebook to further diversify its colorful character with "skin tones" and "lots of women in great roles".
After updating Messenger to its latest version, the app will ask the user to set a base skin tone color, which can be later changed in the settings. It looks like the new emoji will be rolling out to users on Messenger 73.0 slowly, which can be downloaded for free in the iTunes App Store.
