We got an incoming Facetime call to our home and it made 2 iPhones and an iPad all respond. The iPad Air does not have phone capability on it. All 3 run iOS 7.

Can you tell me why that happened?
Is there a way for a person to do a Facetime call just to one iPhone?

Thanks, cb

Check in your FaceTime settings in your Settings app. When you open it, look for the "You can be reached by FaceTime at" line. In order to not get the call to every device, you must ensure each one has a separate contact (whether it be a phone number or e-mail address). If any share the same contact number/e-mail, then they will get the call.

The iPad will get FaceTime because FaceTime does/will use e-mail addresses.

Hope this helps.
