FaceTime not working

I have an iPhone 4 and my father has the new 5.

Both have FaceTime turned on in Settings, but can't get connected.

We have both used FaceTime before with different people, but can't connect with each other.

Any idea what the problem could be???

Whatever the problem is, it's not on Apple's end. There are no reported problems at this time.

Are you trying to connect with WiFi of cellular. If you are trying a cellular connection, iOS 6 is required.

Yes, I was using Cellular and I am updated with iOS6.
