1-does an at&t iPhone 4 can connect to any wireless or just an at&t wireless?
2-what are the correct ultrasnow supported basebands for an iPhone 4?
3-is there any way to downgrade my baseband in an iPhone 4?
4-what may be the IOS and baseband running in an iphone 4 if bought in 2012 ?
5-if there is no way to downgrade the baseband is there any way to unlock any baseband?
6-does the IOS matter when unlocking an iphone?
7-is it a good idea to buy an AT&T iphone 4 then jailbreak it and unlock?
8-should i buy an iphone 4s since it's unlock is coming out very early or should stick on my last idea cause not all iphone 4 basebands are supported?

1. Only At&t wireless
2. Only BB 1.59.00 supports ultrasnOw
3. No way to downgrade BB
4. If purchased recently it'll most likely be on 4.11.08... currently NOT unlockable
5. The only iP4 BB that cannot be Unlocked is 4.11.08
6. iOS version doesn't matter when Unlocking, only the Baseband

if it's working how can i change the networks name?

Not sure about the hot spot or renaming the network. As far as an Unlock for 4.11.08... no timetable on it that we know of.
