Since Apple has banned bluetooth, I wonder what are other ways of file sharing with other phones rather than Apple's.

Apple has not banned Bluetooth, however you can only use Bluetooth to share between iOS devices running the same file sharing App.

As for how to share files across devices, wifi works with an App that supports it, or you can use a cloud service like Dropbox.

The problem with wifi is that u should be on a network to be capable of using it. Or is there a way to create one just with ur phone?
And not to mention cloud needs internet which i do not have access to at my workplace.

Well if you have access to a terminal, you can use utilities for your terminal like iExplorer or iFunBox along with the USB cable to transfer files to and from your computer to your iPhone and vise versa. This does not require internet access of any kind.

If you're trying to transfer between devices, you can transfer from your first device what you want to transfer, unplug the first device, plug in the second device, and transfer it back to the second device, using your terminal as the middle man. It's not a direct transfer but since you don't have the available ports at work and such, it's one way of doing it.

Yeah, that's pretty much what i do now but that sucks!! Not to be able to use ur iPhone's full capacity and incapable of easy file sharing, accused by android users!!

That's the beauty of having an open source OS like Android.

is there any way to share file with android ? by using bluetooth or wifi where the android phone does not have to install any app

Mail or Message...

No direct file sharing options between Android and iPhone at this time, and unless Android gets Air Drop support, it will likely always require an app be installed.
