AppleInsider today reports on a new video that has appeared on the Internet that claims to show a working version of the iPhone 5C, including footage of someone using the new budget iPhone to browse the online Apple Store via iOS 7 Safari. The video was first posted by Chinese blog C Technology, and, if genuine, is the first video of a working iPhone 5C handset to appear online.
AppleInsider says that it cannot vouch for the authenticity of the video due to its low quality, and there doesnt actually appear to be a lot going on in the video, with the user simply browsing the Apple Store via Safari. AppleInsider says that the page-loading speed, scrolling and gesture input all appear to be similar to that of the current iPhone 5, just as expected. The similarities could also simply mean that this is not really an iPhone 5C, but rather a hybridized mock-up consisting of iPhone 5 internals running an iOS 7 beta, squeezed into a plastic iPhone 5C shell.
