First Telltale Game of Thrones Episode Out Today

Thursday is always a busy day for iOS games, and we’ve got some right crackers for you today, in particular the long-awaited Season Premiere of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series.

The first of six episodes, Iron From Ice arrived in the App Store today, for download on compatible iOS devices.

"Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will expand upon a world already epic in scope and detail, giving fans of the franchise an opportunity to forge their own path as they interact with characters they know from the TV show, and new ones from House Forrester and beyond."

The game series is based on the world, characters and events of the HBO TV show, which in itself is based on George R. R. Martin’s books. The storyline is set towards the end of Season Three of the TV show, finishing just before the beginning of Season Five. In the course of the game, fans will get to visit familiar locations from the show, such as King’s Landing and The Wall, as well as new locations such as Ironrath, home of House Forrester, the noble house from the Wolfswood in the north of Westeros.
