Flinging and chucking games are incredibly popular these days, with virtually every type of human, beast and inanimate object being flung around on millions of iPhones worldwide, on such smash hit games as Parachute Ninja and Angry Birds. Now a new chucking contender has entered the ring, in the pointy-headed form of Chuck, part garden gnome, part slingshot ninja, on a noble mission to save his princess. Players must use their fingers to aim and shoot brave Chuck quite literally into the face of danger, dragons and demons. Use Gnome Vision to view Chuck's flight path before you launch him to increase your chances of hitting the target and racking up the points. You can also use the accelerometer to rotate the stage by tilting your iPhone left or right, in order to reach certain far-flung, hard-to-reach areas.
Chuck Gnome is out now on the iTunes App Store for $1.99 and there's also a free Lite version available.
