Game question

About 3 weeks ago I notice in an article that the game Call To Atlantis was being offered for free for a short time. I loaded on my iPhone 4, my husband loaded it on his 3GS and our daughter loaded it on her iPod touch. Yesterday the game won't come up at all on any of our devices. As soon as we open the game on any device it immediately crashes. Is this normal? Are games offer for free and then screw up in the hopes you'll buy them later?

No, I think thatit's just a bug in the game apps. However, I believe that, since you've already downloaded it for free, later when it turn out to be a pay version, you will not have to buy it before been able to download it provide you use the same iTunes account you've used to download the app when it was for free. The reason why the make it for free for awhile is to get reviews, once you download an app from the apps store, it will be listed within your purchased apps list which you can find in apps store> update> purchase/
