Worms 2: Armageddon is experiencing another boost in sales, soaring into the Paid App Top 10 in the US and UK after Britsoft developerTeam17 dropped the classic game’s price to $0.99/€0.79/£0.59 in the App Store for a limited time, for both the full game and the in-App purchase Battle Pack.

With an extensive Campaign, full team customization and easy connectivity options for online and offline multi-player, Worms 2: Armageddon packs a mighty punch. You don’t have to have been a fan of the classic turn-based strategy game to enjoy this version, but you’ll certainly get even more of a kick out of it if you were, and it brings back some great memories!

The Battle Pack in-app purchase adds lots of new weapons and utilities, including termites, ferrets and worship statues, as well as a new single-player campaign with 30 Deathmatches, lots of typically wacky new customisation features, and an all-new game mode, among other upgrades.
