voiceover plus a pass code will f ur phone up when u go to put ur code in it locks ur phone and have to reset it to factory settings

I thought it messed mine up too. Apparently in Settings-General-Accessability it is defaulted that three clicks on the home button turns on VoiceOver. I highly recommend that if you do not need this feature you should turn it off, because if you have a passcode it is very difficult to get back in. Here's how I did it...Turn the phone off, wait about 30 seconds and turn it back on. The split second that the passcode screen comes up enter your passcode. You only have a few seconds until VoiceOver kicks in and then you're screwed. Now select Settings and then double tap it. Select General and then double tap it. Scroll down using three fingers and select Accessability and then double tap it. Finally, select Voice over and then it should let you turn it OFF. You may have to double tap or slide it with more than one finger. Tell you the truth at that point I was just very happy to turn the dadgum thing off. I'm sure it has uses for some people, but if you don't know what you're getting into VoiceOver can be tricky to get out of.

Hello and welcome to the forum.......
Thanks for the heads up on this.

VoiceOver appears to be a function in iOS5 to assist someone who is visually impaired. Every button or app that you touch it will speak back to you and then you have to double click to access that app. I am speculating of course, but it seems to have that type of application.
