[FONT="]Some exciting news from Google today via AppleInsider, with details of Googles new Google Swiffy tool, which is currently still at the experimental stage, but seems very impressive all the same. According to AppleInsider, Swiffy converts some .SWF Flash files into HTML5 code, which is then viewable on such devices as the iPhone and iPad. You can see how well it works by clicking on the Google Labs link below on your iPad or iPhone and seeing the converted videos in action, right next to the original Flash video, which of course you cant view! Pretty cool stuff! According to Google Labs, Swiffy supports a subset of SWF 8 and ActionScript 2.0, and the output works in all Webkit browsers such as Chrome and Mobile Safari. Google Labs even talk about Adobes reaction to Swiffy on the site, saying,
