I love how Google always has silly names for their features, like Google Goggles, and Google Doodles of course! Google Doodles are the little decorations around the Google logo on the Google search page, often with a relevant theme celebrating a specific event. They have actually been around since 1998, but as the Google Mobile Blog explains today, the doodles have been almost exclusively featured on the desktop search engine, with very few on the mobile Google search page. Thats all about to change though, as the blog proudly announces that Google Doodles have arrived for iOS 3+ devices worldwide, and that from now on, virtually all of the desktop doodles will have a corresponding mobile version. To see one of the doodles on your iOS device, when they appear, all you have to do is point your browser to google.com. But not today, because there isn't one!
Google Doodles have become quite a phenomenon, and if you want to know about their history, and see some of the more famous doodles, click here to learn all about them.
