Hello All,
Took the plunge into iPhone 5 ownership after being on Android for 2+ yrs (and Blackberry for 4+ yrs before Android) and so far the change has been smooth. I did all the rooting and ROMing I could stand to correct issues with the Android OS. The iPhone does everything my Android did with the exception of the customization Android affords its users out of the box. I dont need gargantuan screens or crazy features. I just wanted a consistent and reliable phone with an OS that was not fragmented in its implementation based on device manufacturer AND cell provider. A word to cell providers - keep your hands off the Android OS and leave that to the device manufacturers.
Im in Healthcare IT. I design and implement digital radiology solutions for a large international company using VMware, Windows and Oracle.
Looking forward to learning more along the way here.
