group contacts using excel

Hi, Using excel, what must I do so that when i import the contacts from excel to outlook and then sync to my iphone4, i can see grouping of my contacts. Tks

I would make a Yahoo account and import the excel spreadsheet into your Yahoo contacts list and then sync your iPhone with Yahoo. As far as I know there's no way to directly sync your iPhone contacts with a spreadsheet.
