no. a gyro stays in the same position and spins on ''gimbals'' as you tip or change the position of the gyros supporting frame the gyro stays in the same position. this is a mechanical gyro , an electronic gyro senses all this and makes a display which never changes position. in an airplane the artificial horizon has a gyro in it and shows the change in attitude of the airplane in relation to the horizon. climb, dive, bank left or right. the nexus 7 tablet has these gyros, i want to know if the i pad or touch has them.
