Help! iPhone 3gs locked to vodafone

Can i unlock the 3gs on ios5 any other way than moving to baseband 06.15.00 i dont want to mess up Gps i use it alot and if not can i downgrade from ios5. cheers

Yes contact Vodafone and get it unlocked through them it's unlocked from apple then and you can do whatever and it will stay unlocked
