Help jailbreaking and unlocking iphone 4

I have an iphone 4 on version 5 with baseband 4.11.08. I downloaded the 5.0 firmware then went to redsnow to jailbreak it. I went through the process and got cydia on the phone afterwards. I went into cydia and added and downloaded ultrasn0w which im assuming is to unlock the phone. My phone keeps saying "no service".

What am i doing wrong??
Am i supposed to be using another firmware to download?
Which sim card is supposed to be in the phone? AT&T or TMobile?

I have been trying for FOUR days now and im still stuck..

There's no way to unlock the 04.11.08 baseband, you will have to use that phone on an official carrier.
