Hi folks
I was having problems with my location services so decided to restore to factory settings to solve this issue.
I backed up my iPhone and then started the process. Then things went south.
It appears that the back up that I consciously did was either disappeared or been overwritten by a more recent back up of the pretty much blank phone that somehow took place in the process.
I got an error message saying my hard drive was full during the first restore but this was AFTER I had carried out the initial back up.
I have restored to a March back up but everything after is the blank phone (no contacts or pics).
Is this phantom back up retrievable? Or do I just need to accept the loss of pics etc?
Many thanks in advance.
Oh, and my location services are fine now...😒
