HELP!! Question about IA5 ihome clock!

I have the iA5 and want to use it for a alarm clock. But I cant connect the phone to the clock cause of my otterbox commuter series. (middle one). Anyway around this or is there a good case that will work with the iA5. any input will be appreciated thanks!!!
