Help Unlocking iPhone 4, 4.0.2

Hi,

I am new to the world of iPhone. So in quick, i have an iPhone 4 with OS 4.0.2. It jailbroken and i have limera1 and cydia installed in it. Can you pls tell me how to unlock it so that i can start using it. I live in India.

Welcome,

I dont think you can unlock the baseband that comes with 4.0.2. I think the 4.0.1 baseband is the latest that can be unlocked.

Please double check by going to settings > general > about and post back your modem firmware version...

my current baseband is 01.59.00

I belive that can be unlocked. Go to cydia and type in ultrasn0w. Check the info for the basebands it supports. If yours is listed install ultrasnow and you will be unlocked...
