Help with deleting apps - Facebook

I've been experiencing problems with the Facebook app since last night. I login as normal & I can see my News Feed but if I want to look at other areas using the button in the top left corner it only shows Pages/Groups I've liked & if I try to go into Account Settings, Privacy Settings or Help Centre it kicks me out totally! I've tried to delete it using the big soft key but it doesn't come up with a black cross on my downloaded apps anymore either.
Any ideas would be welcome

Press and hold any app on your springboard (homepage). After a second or two your apps will start to wiggle and you will see the black x on the top corner. Press that on your Facebook app and it will ask you to confirm the delete...
