Help with WiFi connections

I have had my IPhone about 3 weeks now, when I got it I set it up to log onto my BT wireless Internet connection which it did. For the first two weeks no problem every time I was in range it would automatically log into that connection, but now it will not log on at all, the message in settings says wifi not connected. The wifi button will not slide across to the on position, it is permanently locked in the off position, can any one help please ?

try this-Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings.
