i signed up for an apple id and i added click and buy so i could buy/download apps to my iphone 4 and i get this message your attempt to set up your click and buy account for itunes store was unsuccessful please help

Never heard of that. Usually you sign up input basic info and credit card and you're. Set.

How did you set up your iTunes account. Are you able to log into your iTunes account on your computer?

on the pc ...... and i get the same message as i posted when i try and sign in on the pc .......

Have you checked your email for validating your account? There have to be an Apple email in the email you've used to register your iTunes account. Open your email click on the Apple email and click on the link in the email to validate your account.
