How to not loose your apps with version 4.2.10 using redsnow I'm new to the jailbreak thing and every time I reboot it puts my phone in recovery mode. So how should I reboot my Verizon iPhone thanks for any help.

Try to avoid rebooting your iPhone is your best solution till iOS 5 untether jailbreak comes out.
You are having a tether jailbreak, so that behavior of your iPhone after rebooting is normal.
