After transfering 1080P video from my 4S to my PC, the video file opens a LARGE window which I resize. But when I hit play, the video starts then freezes, but the audio continues normally. Then the video starts again but never catches up with audio. Not enough memory in my PC maybe? It's 10 years old with 1 Gig of RAM.

It's not so much the amount of RAM as it is the processor speed and outdated video abilities. I'm afraid a ten year old machine (IBM compatible? Pentium 4?) just isn't going to be able to do this. You might be able to use a video converter utility to turn it into a file type that doesn't require so much processing to play, but then of course you'd lose a lot of quality in the process.
