Hi.
I'm new to this forums thing. I'm 23 yrs old and I have an iphone 4. I'm interested in knowing more about it and getting to know people who have one as well and who can help me with any issues that I may encounter.
For example, right now my phone is jailbroken and i'm now having issues connecting with WI-Fi networks. Like it'll tell me that it's searching for networks even though i know i have a connection to them. It won't let me connect and I refuse to pay apple to help me fix it because I know they'll void my warranty. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this issue. I'd really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forums Lexi! To help you with your inquiry, i need to ask if you've installed any tweak, or app, from cydia that has anything to do with your wifi?

You can hard reset your iPhone, I mean press down both home and power buttons for about 12seconds, during those 12s your iPhone will power off and then power on again with the white apple logo on the screen, then as soon as you see the white apple logo, you can release both keys. If after the phone boot up, it doesn't connect to your wifi, then try to go to settings> general> reset> reset network settings/
If after that your iPhone doesn't still connect to wifi, then you will have to factory restore the iPhone and try it again, if the factory restore doesn't cure it, then take it to apple store and they will change it into a new one for you since you are still under warranty.

+1, I'd just try this first lol. If this doesn't solve it, you'll have to check to make sure none of your cydia apps or tweaks are interfering with your wifi. If they aren't, then you'll have to do a factory restore on your iPhone so Apple won't know it was jailbroken. If you were interested in re-jailbreaking once you receive a replacement device, you'll have to dump your SHSH blob with iFaith BEFORE you perform the factory restore on your current device! :)

Besides the hard reset why not reset your network settings. And welcome to the forums
