Holster help

I Apple iPhone 4 Shell Holster Combo w/ Kickstand (AIP4HOC) (Bulk Packaging) got this holster for my new I phone and struggle to remove the cover and can't keep the protective skin on because the cover overlaps onto the front. I need to change to the otter box for work days. Any help would be great. Thanks
