Home Wifi automatic connection issue (not the grayed out issue)

So now hag one problem is fixed, i am having another problem. My iphone 4s used to connect to my home wifi automatically with or without a wep passphrase. Ever since i reset my network settings to fix the other problem, i no longer auto connect, i have to manually connect. Anyone know how to fix this?
