Horrible 3G data speeds after 4.1 jailbreak

I had my phone jailbroken on 4.0.1 and i had 3G speed issues. Swapped my iphone 4 out for a new one on 4.1 cause of proximity sensor issues. Now the new iphone 4 was working great, jailbroke it with limera1n, and 3G speed are about as slow as edge sometimes worse. Any ideas cause i'm so pissed im about to restore and leave it stock...

just an update. after restoring, still really intermittent 3G speeds even with 4 to 5 bars. Guess it wasnt the jailbreak, i guess iPhone 4's just cant keep a consistent 3G speed and i'm sure ATT's network isnt helping...

That's been my experience... Tower to tower it's different.
