I have just bought copilot live (western europe amps) for my phone 4.
Over the weekend I was trying out navigating my way home about 120 miles.
This sat nav is quite good, not as good as TomTom but as it was on offer it was a massive amount cheaper.
However I noticed that the phone got quite hot, mainly in at the top 1/4 of the handset. It remained at this temp (ie did not get any hotter or cooler) throughout the journey, is this normal ? By hot I don't mean you can cook on it, it was just noticably warmer than the rest of the handset.
I appoligies is this is a stupid question but I am new to the phone and of course the app.
I assume that the sat nav free to use, I dont have any of the add on's
One other question, I am off to France at the weekend (hence the sat nav app) and have been advised by Orange to turn off 'Data roaming' and my answer phone due to potential massive bills. Am I okay to leave on Mobile date and 3G ? or will I need these for the sat nav
