Hot spot connection

It seems since this last update my laptop won't connect to my 8plus. Some sights will open others NOT! It works fine when connected wireless everywhere else. Email doesn't work either with the phone. Any help would be great I use it to tune my car.

Is your laptop running the most up to date iOS it can for its age? I am now using High Sierra, but I do not think I can go any further than that until I upgrade my laptop. What I am trying to say is you might have a problem due to the iOS you are using on your laptop.
