Hot spot

Hi all not having Wi-Fi l use hot spot from my phone to connect. Have noticed that if l forget to switch it off the battery is almost empty in the morning. Is this normal ? Is there an app that can do it for me ?

I had to use my iPhone as Personal Hotspot for my iPad for a few weeks. It needed more power than usually, so the behaviour you’re noticing is normal. There’s no app which can turn it off, afaik. You have to do it yourself.

If possible, keep the iPhone plugged into the charger when using the Hotspot. That will stop the battery from draining if you leave it on for an extended period.
