I have a 3GS, and it is password protected. I broke the screen and ended up repairing it myself, successfully. A week later, I dropped the phone and part of the touchscreen didn't work: the part of the screen that contained one of the digits for my password!!! I tried to fix it again (this time I replaced the LCD screen, long story, I know that was not the smartest idea, but I was over-confident), and when I put everything back together, the screen was black but I could hear text tones, etc. I tried, yet again, to go back in and reset the connectors, but for some reason could not open the phone back up again with my suction cup. My generous co-worker is lending me his extra 3Gs. We just swapped the sim card.
Here is my question: considering that my busted 3Gs is password protected, can I somehow get the data from it? How do I do that? HELP. I have not backed up my data on the cloud. I have two years of data on that phone.
