How can I make my iphone5 stay on (screen lit up, not locked) when plugged in?

Just got the iphone5. Like it a lot.

I used to have an android, and on the android, there was an option where you could set the phone up so when plugged in it would stay lit up (not locked, screen lit up). How can I do that with the iphone5?

I did a search on these forums and couldn't find anything related to what I'm looking for.

I'm pretty sure u can turn off the auto lock function n settings under general set it to never ur phone will stay on

Correct. Go to Settings>General>Auto-Lock>Never, and your screen will stay on and unlocked.

The only think this will not accomplish for you..... when set this way your iPhone will never lock itself. There isn't an option for an auto lock when unplugged, then not auto locking when you plug it in.

Huh, never noticed that. We have that option in Settings.app on developer devices though.

In settings your able to turn off the lock feature!
