How do I delete a contacts group?

I imported all my contacts from the computer. I have lots of groups now on my Iphone that I don't want there. How do I delete groups from my contacts?
And how do I create new groups?

The most easiest way... manage your contact via you Mac OS X Address Book. Or if you want manage it on your iPhone, download Groups Apps by GuidedWays
