Do you see the StatusBar icon next to the percentage? How on Earth do I disable it? It's been driving me crazy lol

Its a notification icon....some app is sending you a notification. If you look in notification centre, you should be able to find which one and switch it off. I'm not sure how you stop it from appearing in the first place.
You are having a jailbreak iPhone, so it could be any tweak dealing with sound or so...
But if you have SBSetting install into your iPhone the go to SBSetting options and there you have some features for the status bar.
