How do i turn off gps after jailbreak?

After i did the jailbreak on my iphone 4 IOS 6, i installed xgps. Now i see three sat. dishes to the left of my battery icon. I am assuming that means that the gps antenna is still turned on. I can not figure out how to turn it off now. I have double clicked the home button and ended every app in the list but that did not work. Can someone please let me know how to deal with this?

That might just be an indicator saying that you have the service ready. Or you can try going into Settings > General > Location Services > Off.

Location services is not there in my settings menu.

It should be. Either settings > notifications or settings > general

In iOS 6, Location Services can now be found in:

Settings > Privacy > Location Services

Also, I would recommend you check for any specific Settings for the tweak you are using first... Don't use xgps myself, but it likely has a config
