I've got an iPhone 3G
It's reporting a 1015 error and won't restore through iTunes
What is a 1015 error?
OK... I've done loooads of reading on this and have read you can get some dodgy program to get rid of the error
(Apologies - I have no idea if the software is dodgy or not - so maybe unfair of me to say so!)
What I want to know is how an iPhone get this error
I have NOT, tried to jailbreak - I don't know how at this moment in time - sure, I've got no qualms whatsoever about doing if I did want to do
But the fact is: I didn't try to jailbreak!
Does this error come as a result of an attempted jailbreak?
It's a long story... here's the short version...I sold it on eBay... before putting for sale, I tested thoroughly - everything fine - no problem + it was an unlocked phone
The buyer sent back saying it had problems
I've given them a full refund - being a VERY honest seller!
When I try to restore... I get this damn error
So... I'm guessing its my dishonest buyer who tried to jail break?
Thanks
Omar
