How to operate the alarm without switching it off?

Let me explain - I use my phone alarm every weekday. It goes off at 6am.
When the alarm starts I have to touch it and it goes into snooze mode. If I left it like that it would go off again in 10 minutes or whatever so I can see no alternative but to totally switch the alarm off.
Is there an automatic way to use the alarm without interfering with the on off settings everyday?

Is this the official Apple alarm? Isn't there a snooze and stop button when the alarm goes off?

There is.

If you tap Stop. It won't go off again 10 minutes later. If you set up the alarm for another day, it will be silenced the day you tap Stop, and go off again the other day(s).

Stop button. I use it daily. It's hard to find when you first wake up, but it's there at the bottom. If not, then you are using a different app.
