Press and hold any icon until you see the 'negative' symbol. You can delete apps by hitting the negative symbol or you can drag & drop them in different locations.
If that doesn't get them exactly where you want them, hook up the phone to itunes. Click on your phone, click on APPS and you can move them around in itunes.
