How to save Group of contacts for SMS /texting?

I send SMS to different groups of people. How can I store the names in accordance to group in my address book, so I only send a single message and iPhone will send out to all the contacts within the group?

I would like to know how to do this too. I've got to announce my new baby's arrival soon & I want to save retyping the same text numerous times!

Not sure but possibly GroupText or SendHub. Also, to create groups on the iPhone, you might want to have have a look at this thread: How to group iPhone contacts.

Can be done in stock messaging by setting up a text to many people and never deleting that text
Next time you want to message that group simply find that text and send another
Easy to find group texts cos they have two little busts (head and shoulder shots) preceeding the first recipient
The recipients can be edited
Not as useful as a dedicated App but useful if you only have a small amount of groups or infrequent need
