The majority of us like to use Instagram on the daily, however when it comes to saving photos from the popular social network, it becomes a hassle. Until now, the only way to save photos from Instagram would be to take a screenshot, then crop it down to the perfect square within the photos app.
A new Jailbreak tweak Instagram++ is looking to solve the issue of saving photos and videos directly within the app. After installing the tweak, users can go into Instagram, find a photo or video they like, hit the ellipses at the bottom right, and now have an option to save the photo to Camera Roll. As mentioned before, the tweak works for saving both photos and videos, unfortunately since it it a free tweak, it adds an annoying ad at the bottom throughout the Instagram app.
Instagram++ has a few more options like copying photos to clipboard, removing comments from the feed, and removing bio info from profiles. The tweak is once again free and can be found under the BigBoss repo in the Cydia Store.
