I just bought an unlocked iPhone from Apple store in London. Then I used it with an O2 sim card. It went well. When returning to my home town ( Jakarta, Indonesia), I switched the O2 sim card to a local sim card (XL) and my iPhone did not and does not recognize the new sim card. The screen reads; NO SIM CARD. Can you help me solve this problem? THX

It should work fine. Normally when using a new sim you have to activate your phone in iTunes but it would tell you that.
It's probably a faulty sim or your phone isn't really unlocked. If you bought it from an official apple store then it will be. If you bought it from an o2 store then it will be locked to them...

It turned out that the sim was faulty. I tried a new one (one with broader metal disk) and it worked. Thanks.
