Hulu Adds Support for the Apple Watch

Browsing around the forums and various blogs around the web, I found that there seems to be a niche of folks hoping they will one day be able to watch video content on the Apple Watch. The idea seems a bit crazy, but for folks carrying around a magnifying glass, it might not be too bad.

If you're one of the folks wanting to watch videos on the Watch, you'll be sadly disappointed that Hulu updated its app and added Apple Watch support...but not for watching videos. Hulu update version 4.4.0 brings Apple Watch support and the ability to use the device as a remote.

Hulu on the Apple Watch allows users to toggle captions along with the standard pause, play and rewind.

The Hulu remote supports a few devices including; Apple TV Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and Chromecast. Users can launch the Hulu app on one of the consoles and then remotely control the application via Apple Watch.

Hulu version 4.4.0 can now be found or updated on the iTunes App Store.
