i have lost my Iphone 4 gps mapping since my upgrade

Hi, Since i have upgraded my Iphone 4 a few weeks ago i seem to have lost the ability to have a location map running from my gps signal when abroad, this was invaluable to me while i was in Vietnam and Thailand a few months ago. Is there an App i can download to go back to what i had before upgrade?
